Stella Bronwasser and Marc van der Aart left Brooklyn in 2016 after a period of 4 years. They ran the succesful Dutch bike store Rolling Orange Bikes and set up Rolling Orange Bike Tours, a bike tour company that explores NYC and Brooklyn and acquired Biking in Brooklyn. The shop was sold to Dutch bike brand VANMOOF and the bike tour companies are still blooming under new ownership.
After the much enjoyed but hectic times in the Big Apple, Stella and Marc set out to new adventures in Umbria, the heartland of Italy. After a long search they found the beautiful villa that they transformed into Il Bacio del Lupo, The Wolves’ Kiss. The name pays tribute to its previous owners, the Lupano’s – Lupano which means the big wolf- who brought a farm in ruins back to live over 30 years ago. Also, the nearby Sibellini Mountains still are home to wolf packs.
Stella and Marc set out to make this villa a home away from home where you can enjoy all the bounties of Umbria, that they have come to love so much.
